While talking in my sleep, I mumbled “no problem”.

I survived a serious car accident in 2013. I was close to death, and reality – one that I had been adapting to with difficulty – slipped through my fingers.

The paint is falling off the walls; the old epochal cars are disassembled, and disoriented dogs are walking like ghosts through the dirty snow.

I am the earth./That doesn’t move./I am the earth./A fleshy stone./I inflict myself the decoration of this empty room./There’s dust in every corner.

Animals burrow holes, people dig pits. Animals hide in the holes, people despise norms and fall into their pits. Animals get outside, into familiar world.

For the past four years I have been taking photographing the underground punk scene in the cities of Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto.
