“How to name all the unnamable that’s hidden
in what remains and lingers
behind another behind”
About the photographer
Having his basecamp in Barcelona, David has dedicated his time and efforts to ramble around western and eastern Europe, the northern Caucasus and northern Africa for the past handful of years—mostly taking part in social and educational initiatives—camera at hand.
David studied applied arts at Escola Massana arts and design center (2009-2012) where he found his way of expression through photography and started exploring its narrative possibilities. He have also participated in the 2018-19 Masterclass imparted by the French/Slovenian photographer Klavdij Sluban.
His work is mainly placed at the crossroads between language and place, the sacred and the everyday, with an especial interest in our relationship with the natural world and the essentials of the human condition.
With a passion for poetic expression and design, he balances his time between his own photographic practice, his work as Artistic Director at LA NUU Photography Festival in Rubí, Barcelona, and the editorial design degree he’s coursing back at Escola Massana.
