August 15, 2016
dienacht Magazine

If you have a b&w project and you think it would look good as a Riso printed Zine, please read the lines below:

dienacht Magazine is looking for project submission for its first supplement ever! Maximum 5 photographers will be invited to publish their projects for a Special Edition of dienacht.

Before you submit, please read the following guidelines and Q&A (ok, no questions, but a lot of answers).

1 – We're not looking for already printed zines. We want to see your digital dummy!

2 – dienacht Magazine will cover all printing costs for 70 copies of your zine: 50 copies will be used as a supplement for a Special dienacht Edition, which will be offered for pre-orders and, in case they are not sold-out, when the magazine is published; the photographer will receive 10 free copies of the zines and one copy of the magazine. We will keep the last 10 copies for our archive.

3 – The size will be 13 x 17 cm. 16 pages + cover.

4 – If you can't decide about the cover and/or the content, please free to submit more than 16 pages, and we can work this out together; but the final zine will have no more than 16 pages + cover. However, please send a final or half-final layout, and NOT single images!

5 – Please send your submission as a low-res Pdf file attached to your e-mail. And ONLY as a low-res Pdf file attached to your e-mail. No links to Dropbox, Wetransfer, etc. are accepted.

6 – If you don't know what a Risograph is, please check this out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Risograph, or try to see some Riso printed zines.

7 – Deadline: August 15, 2016.

8 – Please send your dummy to speak2me@dienacht-magazine.com, and type "Riso Zine Project" in the subject line.

I'm looking forward to see your project!
