Release of the dienacht Special Issue 'Ostkreuzschule'

April 16, 2016
Ostkreuz Postgraduierten Klasse 2016

A new Special dienacht Issue "Ostkreuzschule" just went to print, and it will be released at the opening of the group exhibition Do not feed the Krokodil on the 16th of April in Berlin!

DO NOT FEED THE KROKODIL is proud to present new work from the photographers of the second postgraduate class of the Ostkreuzschule for Photography, Berlin. An international group of photographers (Argentina, Canada, France, Israel, Switzerland and Germany), we came together under the direction of Prof. Ute Mahler of the Ostkreuzschule and Robert Lyons of the Hartford Art School to work on in-depth projects touching on themes such as longing, homesickness, sex and the banality of everyday life to imaginary landscapes and the intangible. Our varied backgrounds and experiences are reflected in our diverse styles and approaches to photography – shifting from humorous to poetic, mystical to surreal, straightforward to explorative. These new works are as much an individual accomplishment as an homage to the accumulated creativity of the group and we are thrilled to welcome a larger audience to see what we’ve created.
